busy busy bee

What a very busy week this has been! I have had a Christmas party everyday since Tuesday and still got 2 more tonight and tomorrow night, then Wed is my birthday! I'll be 25 this year and am nervous I am getting old!!!! Today I need to go find a New Years eve dress and I am so excitied I love New Years I celebrate my birthday on New Years, but this year I got a couple parties for my birthday. I am excited for it all to be with though I just wantto relax and get back to my normal schedule with school and work I feel that all this month I put off a lot in school because of being so busy at work and trying to get everything done for the holidays. On a very good note my little sister is home from school she lives in Philly and just graduated from college. Well I am going to work on my rough draft and then get ready for my second to last party. I hope everyone had a great holiday and enjoyed themselves!!!!

WOW week 6 already

I feel like this semester is going by so fast, I am kind of excited though I am in chemistry right now and its very hard for me. I enjoy this class and it has provided me with a lot of important information on writing skills. I started my outline and am pretty excited to write about it. My back is finally feeling better so I haven't been on any pain pills lately so its time to catch up on my work and school work. This week is going to be very busy with Christmas eve then Christmas day couple days later its my birthday and new years eve!!! I am excited about my birthday this year we are going to New York City for new years and I cant wait!!! Well time to work more on my outline. I hope everyone has a great holiday and new year!!!!

oh the pain!!

So this is different to me that I don't have to work this weekend and I also did not go out. I had my cyst removed and it hurts so bad. It was really weird, it was only local anesthesia I never had that before I was always knocked right out, and I cant say I'll ever want that again. I have had 3 surgeries before but never on my back and I did not know how many different ways or things you have to do that involve your back. It kinda feels good to stay in and work on some school work. I am also watching "Bedtime Stories" with Adam Sandler its such a cute movie so far. Well I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not a fun week

This past week has not been a fun week, I have been suffering from these pains in my back and finally went to the doctor for it and found out its a cyst. Tomorrow I am having it removed and tested, its very stressful for me, trying to focus on work, school, and trying to find time to think and do my daily things I need to do. I have never had a problem like this before but I am going in with an open mind and hopefully it will all be ok. Wish me luckkkk
But on the plus side it's 15 days till Christmas, 20 days till my birthday and 21 till new years. New Years is my favorite I love to celebrate and have a party with my friends and family there. I love this time of the year. But on top of all this excitement I am also in the middle of moving!!!! So much is going on I hope everyone had a great week and an even better weekend! :)

the part I hate

Citing to me used to be very easy till I learned there were different ways to cite. I grew up in school using MLA never did I hear about APA and let me tell you, its not easy to get used to! I read in my Kaplam handbook about plagiarism and what exactly it is and how you do it. I enjoyed reading and getting a better picture on it and what I need to cite when I am putting that information in my report. I feel that we need to cite our sources because they need to get that credit that they deserve. I would not like it if I found something I wrote or did someone used for one reason or another and did not give my the credit I earned. That I think would be rude and not appropriate esp. when they are using my information. In the cases that plagiarism was found out about in the real world, I think was handled right, and I also think schools handle it appropriately, if you plagiarize you should have consequences if the situation was in school I think getting kicked out would be a little harsh, maybe to get a zero and spoken to and move on would be a little better. I do think that the internet does not give at all times the right amount of credit to the right person, sometimes they don't even give the credit to the creator at times, which is wrong.

What to do my report on!???!!

After thinking about my project I am just about 100% sure I will be doing it on eating disorders in the modeling business. This topic i think needs to be covered way more than it actually is, people do not know what they go through and how much pressure they are under. It is sad but its the life that some pick. Not only are they worried about their weight all the time but also looking there best all the time, and that leads to many different areas; such as depression, drug problems and the obvious eating disorders.

But on a better note I love being an online student. It is hard at times and a little pressure to get things done all on my own without having a teacher or help right there when i need it. I do get frustrated very fast and I need to change that, this will be my 3rd term here at Kaplan and it keeps getting better. I am in chem right now and that is very hard I got off on the wrong foot so i do need to stay focused and do my best, which I am sure I will do.

But its almost 3 am now and its way past my bed time. I enjoy this blogging thing I have never thought to do it before and its nice to have some space to write whatever I feel i need to. Have a great night everyone and I hope everyone had a great holiday.

What a weekend!

I worked on Saturday night doing promos in Brockport which is about 20 mins away from my house all went well till i hit a deer on my way home! I was so scared I just saw 3 deers fly out of the woods i missed them then the last one came out and hit my front end! I had to call the cops and wait in a parking lot in the middle of no where for about an hour for them to fill out a police report. I was so nervous to drive home I left my brights on and drove with my eyes not leaving the road the whole way home. The deer didn't damage that much but it was still scary watching this huge thing fly at my car and I couldn't do anything about it. Now I gotta get that fixed BOOOO! But other than that my weekend was nice and relaxing but now I have the flu!
It has been going around all season this year and in New York its really bad. My little brothers school shut down for 3 days to clean and bleach everything, and now I HAVE IT!!!! I woke up with it on Sunday and I am miserable today! I hate being stuck inside and not being able to do anything or see anyone because no one wants to get this esp. with the swine flu so big here and many people are getting that also, I hope I only have the flu and not swine! I had to call into work all week this week and am trying to keep up with my school work but it is hard when all I want to do is sleep. Now I am going to try and eat some toast and see if that stays down and maybe get some more sleep. Have a wonderful night everyone :)

finallly friday!!!

After a very busy week I am now finally able to relax. Florida was great the weather was amazing I loved laying in the sun letting it beat on me. The beaches were amazing I loved walking in the sand it felt great on my feet. Now its back to reality in New York back to everything that hasn't changed since I left. Work is driving me crazy but its still making me great money so that is great for me still. But on the good side of things I am up to date with my school work this week and I decided what I wanted to write about for my paper I choose to write about eating disorders in the modeling industry. I wanted to write about this because I am in this company and see it everyday I feel that it is a great subject to write about. Finally its Friday and I am going to enjoy it!!!
